Big Kahuna

Character design commissioned for the "Big Kahuna" bar in Zamość (the venue is no longer in existence). The mascot’s concept stems directly from its name, serving as a bridge between the pop-culture archetype of the laid-back, 1960s American surf-idol and the traditional Hawaiian meaning of Kahuna — a master, shaman, and guardian of hidden knowledge.

Projekt postaci stworzony na zlecenie dla zamojskiego baru „Big Kahuna” (miejsce już nieistnieje). Koncepcja maskotki wyrasta bezpośrednio z nazwy, będąc pomostem między popkulturowym archetypem wyluzowanego, surferskiego bożyszcza z lat 60-tych w USA, a rdzennym hawajskim znaczeniem słowa Kahuna — mistrza, szamana i strażnika tajemnej wiedzy.
